WHO WE ARE

Pediatric Medicine of Cartersville opened its doors in 2002 when Dr. Ryan moved his family to Cartersville to start his own practice. He and his wife, Jeannette, married after completing their pediatric residency and worked together in Ashland, Kentucky prior to settling down in Georgia.

Dr. Ryan grew up in Corning, New York and obtained his undergraduate degree in Bioengineering from Syracuse University in 1988. He graduated from medical school at the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1993 and completed his pediatric residency at Stony Brook Children's Medical Center in 1996. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Whether running, doing calisthenics or a marathon row, exercising has always been an important part of Dr. Ryan’s routine. He enjoys growing his own food and loves working the compost pile. He looks forward to cool nights camping in the woods and building fires with the kids. He is a wonderful storyteller and a gifted teacher. He and Jeannette homeschool their six children.
